From Government 2.0 to Society 2.0: Pathways to Engagement, Collaboration and Transformation

Collaboration, transparency and participation have enjoyed vigorous new interest. So-called “Government 2.0” initiatives proliferate. Images of citizen collaboration and empowerment abound.
As with any new idea, there are bumps in the road - and important lessons have been learned. Recently, we convened global leaders of government and industry to Harvard to assess the move to “government 2.0” to date, share insight to its limits and possibilities, its enablers and obstacles, and to assess the road ahead.
